FEES

This is a bulk billing practice for Medicare consultations covered by Medicare. Workers compensation, third party visits, medical assessments for commercial driving or insurance are not covered by Medicare and fees will be charged.

If you are referred for a test, or to a specialist or other health professional you should ask about the fee when you make the appointment.

MEDICAL RECORDS

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.
Our practice collects personal health information and safeguards its confidentiality and privacy in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles.

TEST RESULTS

We ask patients to follow up regarding the results of any tests that have been ordered by your doctor. Please call the surgery to book a follow up appointment 3-4 business days after your test.

TELEPHONE CALLS

In many cases the office staff will be able to assist with your inquiry. If not the doctor will return your call as soon as possible.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATES

Medical certificates are legal documents, available only at the time of your consultation. Certificates will not be issued without you seeing the doctor and will not be backdated.

APPOINTMENTS

Consultations are by appointment, lasting 15 minutes. If you require a longer consultation (driving, insurance medical, forms; or you have a number of issues to discuss) please advise staff when booking your appointment.

Patients are required to make appointments for completion of scripts, referral letters, documents, forms, certificates etc.

We accomodate walk-in patients for emergencies only.

SUGGESTIONS / COMPLAINTS

From time to time this practice invites patients to complete a questionnaire on their views of this practice and how it could be improved. These surveys are completely confidential and help us to provide you with a better service.

If you have any suggestions or are unhappy about any aspect of our services, please discuss with the practice staff or a doctor, who will be happy to listen to your suggestions.
